I am an honors undergraduate student earning my BA in Psychology at UT San Antonio. I am originally from Dearborn, MI. and came to UT San Antonio in 2018. I joined Swan Lab in the fall of 2019, looking to research how traumatic brain injury can alter cognition and behavior. I was awarded the MARC-U*STAR award the summer before my senior year and am currently in the process of completing my honor’s thesis on disordered sleep and traumatic brain injury with my advisor, Dr. Alicia Swan. After graduating, I plan to pursue a PhD in cognitive development. I am very passionate about child welfare and education, so I take service-learning courses with the honors college and volunteer whenever I can. When I am not working, I love roller-skating, cooking, and learning both programming and natural languages.
My research interests include cognitive sciences, cognitive development, traumatic brain injury, language, linguistics, computational modeling, and neurological disorders.
